Rob is an owner and operator of Victoria’s premiere bouldering gym- BoulderHouse, and has a direct connection to the bouldering community indoors and out. With the emergence in the popularity of climbing as it hits the main stage for the Olympics, Rob is also aware of the impact this will have on our natural areas and takes a personal interest in stewardship and education of the next generation of climbers.</image:caption>

Attended most of high school in Detroit and graduated from college at The Citadel in South Carolina. Found climbing only 4 years ago while living in San Diego and consider myself an adventure climber. Moved to Canada 3 years ago to escape the hustle grindset culture and the fact that the US is currently imploding. The dog in the photo isn't mine but he is a very good dog.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Rob Somogyi Born and raised on Vancouver Island I have witnessed the many changes that have gone on in the evolution of climbing here. I have sat on multiple boards from stratas to associations where I’ve held positions from secretary to president. I currently am part owner of BoulderHouse Climbing and quite connected with the bouldering community. I believe that my board experience, community connections and history with climbing on the island make me an ideal candidate for the SICA board. Thank you in advance for your consideration.</image:caption>

      <image:title>AGM 2025 - Make it stand out</image:title>
<image:caption>Jane Hofweber My 3 best assets: 1. Government experience: I have 15 years of experience working within a government organization. This includes collaborating on multi-year policy and resource management projects with representatives from federal, provincial, and municipal levels of government. 2. Board experience: I served as Secretary for 2 years for the CFB Esquimalt scuba club. Also, I’ve been serving as a Director for SICA for 2.5 years. 3. Climbing relationships: My 20 years of climbing experience in Canada, USA, Cuba, and Switzerland has allowed me to cultivate a wide range of long-term relationships within local and international climbing communities. Notably, I have been interested in learning about the crag access concerns of climbers, Indigenous territory experts, and land managers. Locally, I am a member of the GOATS LGTBQ2S climbers collective, a member (in allyship) of the BIPOC Bloc group, and I am the founder of My Send Peeps (a group that offers cultural safety information and access assistance to outdoor climbing spaces). In my personal life, enhancing diversity, inclusion, and safety is my jam! As a result, I believe climbing access work should address two key questions: Is climbing allowed here? Do climbers feel safe here? Thanks!</image:caption>

<image:caption>Tim Jordison - Director at Large I grew up scrambling in the Rockies and started rock climbing 15 years ago when I moved to Victoria. Over the years I've gotten into Trad climbing and have climbed in places ranging from Victoria and Squamish to Utah and Joshua tree. Outside of climbing I'm a software engineer and have worked several Victoria based technology companies over the years. I'd bring a strong understanding of technology and organizational skills. I'm passionate about safety, risk assessment, and responsible land stewardship. I also have a strong commitment to diversity equity and inclusion in fostering environments were all voices are heard. I'm excited to get more involved in the local climate community and give back to the crags that are given me so much over the years.</image:caption>
